Yellow Geometries
by Sirui Zhang

To me, the Yellow Towers are not simply architectural structures, but a composition of yellow geometric lines within the landscape. When I look at them, the surrounding sea and clouds also begin to appear geometric — becoming circles, semicircles, triangles and rectangles.

I wanted to reconstruct this way of seeing through Adobe Illustrator, reducing the towers and their surrounding landscape into a series of simple geometric forms. I changed the original blue sky to purple, the complementary colour of yellow, to create a stronger contrast and deliberately shift the image away from the original landscape. Through this colour transformation, I wanted to reimagine the visual impression of the towers as I perceive them.
