I know them as *my* towers! All my friends know how much I love them and always ask if I've been to see my towers today.
I go on runs most days around Wardie bay and Newhaven, I remember one very chilly winter morning seeing a massive boat holding some rather odd looking tubes, so I ran along platnum point (which I call the jutty outy bit) to have a closer look. Since then I run along the jutty outy bit every week to see what new bits and bobs they've brought to the port for the offshore wind farm. My uncle used to work on offshore windfarms so has been explaining to me what each new piece is for. The towers certainly are the most impressive of the lot! A few weeks ago I got one tattooed to remember them forever. The tattoo was designed and done by Homer Loves Marge, an artist based in Glasgow.
